For Mac users, the stalwart tool has been the Microsoft Remote Desktop connection. Available now through the Mac App store, it allows users to remotely connect to a Windows desktop to access local. I'm having trouble with the connection to a Windows 7 RC 64-bit box using Microsoft Remote Desktop Client for Mac v 2.0 from a Power Mac G5 with 10.5.7. I can establish the connection without any problem, but if I use the keyboard at all in RDC it drops the connection. I can use the mouse and click on anything without any problems, just can't type anything. I've been using a similar setup to connect to a Vista Business 64-bit box, and never had this kind of problem, until I changed to Windows 7 RC. ![]() ![]() My workaround is to use the on-screen keyboard in Windows 7 if I need to type something, however this is quite annoying.

What exact Mac OS are you running? For Outlook, do you have Office 2008, Office 2011, or Office 2016? I have used all 3, but am most familiar with Email cleaning for Outlook 2011 and (currently) Outlook 2016. I've recently switched from a Windows Outlook 2013 to Mac Outlook 2016. My problem is, that unlike the Windows Outlook which used to sync seamlessly with my Zimbra Exchange email account, Outlook 2016 needs to be synced manually by pressing the Send/Receive button. I've tried Apple Mail and its able to sync mails automatically, however, I prefer to use Mac Outlook 2016. I've already tried creating a new profile and tested the outcome but the problem remains unresolved The mail syncs only when I press the Send & Receive button. Hi, Please go to the Tools tab of Outlook 2016 for Mac and click the Sync Errors button to see if you can see any related sync errors. We may also try to right click on your Inbox and select Empty Cache to see if it helps. This will r eplace messages in this folder with the messages from the server. In addition, I noticed that this issue only happens when using Zimbra Exchange email account. I'd recommend you also contact the support of Zimbra to see if they can provide any solution on this issue.
